Dobby, Miniature Pinscher of my family, passed away earlier this month. It was extremely painful for everyone in my family losing him.
As a matter of fact, I didn’t quite realize how physically old he had become. A year for humans is equivalent of seven years for dogs. Six months could be long enough for Dobby, who was almost fifteen years old, to experience physical difficulties. I now believe he must have been experiencing difficulties considerably.
Dog, man’s best friend, normally leaves us eventually. It is hard to accept the grim fact, but all the memories and emotions we shared would stay with us forever. His or her “love” is so pure that it keeps us warm at heart ever after.
It was not long after I posted “Dobby!” in Special Selections, without knowing his end of life was coming. And, it was rather all of a sudden.
He used to be my best companion, walking here and there photographing. I truly appreciate his presence with me for fourteen years in the past. Thank you very, very much, Dobby. I love you forever, and will never forget you. KT
