Recently, I have just added Special Selections V “10 of 2024” in my website. Those ten photographs are the ones I like the best from last year. From more than 2,300 shots last year, I processed 133 images as “good,” and chose ten out of them.
Now here, I have encouraged myself to show my “Not Quite 10 of 2024.” Those ten can be anything, but I also chose them carefully. They are not “failed” shots. They are good, too, but I normally do not show them as my work. They are “scratches” or visual practice toward improvement, so to speak.
