Monochrome fireworks

It is July, and it is summer. It has been a year since I began living in my current location. “What a year!,” I would have to say.

A few days ago, there was a surprise firework show in my neighborhood. Since I happened to have an ideal environment to photograph fireworks free from crowd, I just tried it seriously… in monochrome.

I know. For so many, monochrome fireworks may sound like “rainbow in monochrome,” but of course, they look different (rainbow is invisible in monochrome).

Personally, monochrome fireworks look more accompanied with the surrounding landscape. They stay together without exciting brilliant colors. You can see “lights” in monochrome photographs.

My digital camera had to spend quite a while for “re-scanning view for noise reduction,” but I could have enough chances. Walla! KT
