When I used to photograph with film, in my bag I always put extra three rolls of film, amount of 108 shots. All through my photography life, I have never used up all of them in a day. Yes, I was not a big shooter.
Even after switching to digital, my shooting style stayed the same (meaning I am still not a big shooter), and I have been doing fine with a very small SD card, amount of 106 shots, which I have never used up in a day as well.
Occasionally I ask my friends how many they photograph in a day. Some says three-digits, and some even four-digits. I have no idea what kind of world I would experience with four-digits of photographs in a day.
However recently, I had an occasion to photograph a series of events from day until night. Surprisingly, I photographed some 139 shots. Thank God on the day I brought a larger SD card, capable of over 400 shots.

Unexpected thing may happen with such amount of photographing. Relatively full battery ran out quickly in the middle. My flash worked all through the time, but I should have replaced the batteries.
I am taking a good break since I have photographed as many as my regular one month. In a day or two, I will resume my regular photographing, of a non-big shooter. KT
